Baja to bering
In August of 2017, I was approached by Neva Sullaway and Doc and Ceci White with a once in a lifetime project. Doc White has been a photographer since the Vietnam war and has been traveling the world photographing all of the beauty the ocean has to offer for the past few decades.
The idea started as a feature long documentary following the 12,000 mile whale migration from the tip of Baja all the way up to the Bering Sea. The film would capture multiple stops along the way and showcase the incredible creatures and life we have just a mile or two off of our coast. There is an estimated 60 million people who live on the coast next to this whale migration, most of those people not knowing what lies beneath the surface just a few miles offshore.
This is the short film we are using to gain possible sponsors and supporters to make this journey happen.
